Christmas Mantelpiece Workshop

With the busy build-up to Christmas, that it always is, we have designed this workshop to be a big helping hand in preparing for Christmas in advance.

 

We shall be providing you with a reusable container to use on your mantelpiece.  The objective of this is to allow you to put this arrangement together in advance so you can focus on the many other preparations involved at Christmas (and it can then be kept outdoors or in a cool place so that it remains fresh until needed).  When the time then comes, the container can be placed in position (causing no mess at this busy time!) refreshing any shorter-lived or fresh flowers at this later point, if necessary.  We will show you some longer-lasting ideas to use in your mantelpiece decoration and how to extend the display. Your container can be used again year after year.

 

We always lean towards an abundant look and style in our workshops, so there will be plenty of seasonal British foliage and decorative materials to work with, to make this a beautiful Christmas arrangement for your mantelpiece - or for your Christmas table for that matter.

On arrival, we will start the morning with coffee and cake - with more to keep you going during the workshop!

 

Numbers will be limited in order to ensure you receive sufficient attention from our teacher who really knows how to bring the best out of people and their designs.

Should you wish to see the winter garden whilst here, there will be a chance to have a guided walk around, following the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience, from beginner upwards.
