Garden To Urn - Demonstration

At this heady, scented and blousy time of the season, it seems a perfect time to demonstrate the art of putting together a beautiful urn for the home, with the finest mid-summer treats to be found in the garden at this time.

This demonstration will show just how to create a beautiful design in an urn, making a fabulous way to greet guests in your home when entertaining. With it being the time for summer entertaining and events, it is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to do this from your own garden. We will show you exactly what you will need to recreate the two striking designs demonstrated, for your home entertaining - or maybe just to enjoy! With a large collection of roses (over 100 varieties and nearly 400 in number), there will be plenty of rose types to use in this demonstration and we will also be using summer flowers from the cutting garden in the Walled Garden.

We shall start the afternoon with coffee on arrival and then take you over to the floral studio in the heart of the garden, for the demonstrations. Following this, there will be a chance to have a guided tour around the garden and see the many roses and the cutting garden in bloom. We shall finish with tea and cake and have time for any questions you may have, before you set off home, inspired to create from your own garden.

Please note that our workshops are non refundable so please make sure that you are able to attend on the specified date. However,  if Dorset Walled Garden has to postpone or cancel the event, then all monies will be refunded.
