Pelargoniums Day

PELARGONIUMS DAY, 24th June 2026

Join us here for a day of all things Pelargoniums, held with well-known pelargonium nursery, Fibrex of Worcestershire.

We are so looking forward to our first Pelargonium workshop collaborating with Fibrex, a family-run nursery since 1958. Fibrex is known to hold a most comprehensive collection of Pelargoniums, with over 1,400 different varieties! Run by Laura and Ed Boers, they will be sharing their extensive knowledge and passion for these much-loved plants that bring so much to garden pots or indoors, for most of the year.

Aspects of feeding, overwintering, pruning, taking cuttings and a list of the most floriferous pelargoniums will be shared on this day in June.

We will start the day with coffee on arrival followed by talks and demonstrations, a two course lunch, chance to take cuttings and prune pelargoniums, as well as the opportunity to see the garden and the roses in bloom.

The day will run from 10am - 4.00pm and includes:

* Coffee on arrival

*Expert talks and practical demonstrations from Laura and Ed Boers of Fibrex

*Guidance on feeding, overwintering, pruning and taking cuttings

*A list of the most floriferous pelargonium varieties

*Hands-on opportunity to take cuttings and prune plants

*A delicious two-course lunch

*Time to explore the garden and enjoy the roses in bloom

*Access to knowledge from one of the most well-known and extensive collections of pelargoniums

Please note that our courses are non-refundable, so please make sure that you are able to attend on the specified dates. However,  if Dorset Walled Garden has to postpone or cancel the event, then all monies will be refunded. We reserve the right to cancel this course if not enough places are booked onto the course​.
