This is a chance to celebrate summer and the joy it brings to our tables.  You will arrive to have coffee and cake whilst taking in the details of the delightful summer tablescape made in advance by our teacher, before heading to the floral studio to follow our teacher’s demonstration to create something similar, on a smaller scale, to take home with you.  The theme of the tablescape you will see will be whimsical and indulgent, decorating the table with scented blooms and riotous colour.  We hope you will enjoy creating a similarly-themed  centrepiece for your table at home.

   

With pelargoniums in abundance around the garden, we shall demonstrate how to take cuttings from them, so that you can do this at home with your favourite pelargonium plants. We shall have a fresh cutting potted up in a starter pot for you to tak

 

Numbers will be kept small to ensure an intimate experience at Dorset Walled Garden.  Your day will include the equipment required to make a sustainable, foam-free table centrepiece, along with a garden tour in high season.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience, from beginner upwards.
